Simon wrote the follwoing about the song back in 2013, 'A friend was preaching on us being like "vapours" - a fragile existance on this Earth that is brief. Kind of like, "who is man, that God would consider him?"'

This song has 2 versions. The other version was just Simon at Home with GarageBand. This version was recorded "live" in our home studio back in 2016. Simon sang lead vox and played Ian's Guild acoustic (plugged in and miked with a matched pair of Rode NT-55's), Tanya played a Logic Pro Steinway grand piano sound and Ian played his Godin electric. After we laid the basic versions, Simon put down a bass track, probably with a Cort bass.

The song got left on the "shelf" for years and, then we discovered it again recently. Simon did some BGVs for himself and we added a groovy Logic studio drummer, then some basic mastering and here you are.
